rFactorWebView Timing Display Help

Below is a sample screenshot of the timing display during a practise sessiontimingdisplayprac1

At the very top you have the racing class name, the circuit name and the type of session. Next to the Circuit name there is a number which indicates the number of people watching the session via the internet.

The lights on the top right show the session status. Each light indicates the status of each sector on the track. Yellow means there is an incident in that sector. These lights will also turn red when a session ends.

The circuit map on the far right shows the location of each driver on the circuit. The colour and the first letter of the driver’s names are shown to make it easier to determine where each driver is on the circuit.

The ‘Best’ column refers to the driver’s best lap of the session and ‘Last’ refers to the very last lap completed.

S1, S2 and S3 column represent the sectors of the circuit and the associated time each driver has achieved in that sector on that lap. The colour coding is as follows

Pink = Best overall sector time of any driver during the session
Green = Personal best sector time for that driver during the session
Yellow = All other sector times during the session
Gray = Best sector times driver has achieved in session. Shown when driver is in the pits

The Split times shown during a lap is the amount up(-) or  down(+) the driver is on the fastest lap of the session. The split is updated each time the driver completes a sector. So +0.2 means the driver is 2 tenths slower than the faster driver at that point. When the driver is in the pits the sector times become grey and show their best sector times for the session. The Split also becomes grey and shows the overall gap to the fastest lap of the session.

The Status column shows the status of the driver. Its shows where the driver is on the circuit eg S2 meaning the driver is currently in Sector 2 on track.

During a race there are some variations to the timing
The Split Column now becomes Gap and always shows the gap to the leader.
Also, as can be seen below the ‘Status’ has an additional number which indicates the number of pit stops the driver has completed during the race. You may also see ‘PEN’ appear in the status which means the driver has been given a penalty. Finally at the very bottom of the table you will see the fastest lap of the race.
